Hi, I’m Lorrie. Welcome to This Thing.* I’m a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University and director of the CyLab Usable Privacy and Security Laboratory. I spend most of my free time with my husband (Chuck), son (Shane), and daughters (Maya and Nina). I walk to work, practice yoga, take lots of photos, and design and create quilts. During my sabbatical for the 2012-13 academic year I will be a fellow at the Carnegie Mellon STUDIO for Creative Inquiry.
