Interesting things happen when I try to find myself....

Until recently I had never met another "Lorrie" in person, but I've found several on the Web. (A flight attendant named Lorrie checked me in at the Maui airport in 1997; she was so excited about my name that she upgraded my seat!) Some have written to me with stories about what it's been like to have this name (with this spelling). One Lorrie wrote, "It has been said that there is much to a good name, and I believe much good could be said of ours! When I was young I hated my "L-O-R-R-I-E" because I could not wear my name on those cute barrettes or on a notebook, but as an adult I've come to appreciate the unique me that I am!" I'll second that!
